We are excited to announce that the 2024 Mackel, the New Orleans Metro Amateur Championship, will be played at Bayou Oaks at City Park - South Course on June 29th and 30th. The format will be 36 holes of stroke play. All Open Division contestants must have a registered GHIN Index of 5.0 or lower. All Senior Division contestants (50 or older by June 1, 2024) must have a registered GHIN Index of 8.0 or lower. 

 

The registration fee is $250.00 for all divisions and includes both tournament rounds, breakfast and lunch both tournament days, and a tee gift. Range balls during tournament days are included in entry fee. Should a player need to withdaw from the tournament, refunds will only be issued if the player withdraws before 5:00 PM CDT Friday, June 7, 2024. 

 

Play will be governed by the current USGA Rules of Golf and local rules. All questions will be settled by The Mackel Rules Committee, whose decision will be final. Competitors must be neat in apperance and wear approriate attire. Range finders will be permitted. The Mackel Tournament Committee reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herin. The decisions of the Tournament Commitee in any matter shall be final.
